Adiel Gisa Cyusa, born on Tuesday April 13th, 2021 at 2:33am, entered the world full of passion, angst, strength, and love. Being born with a congenital heart defect, Adiel fought every obstacle thrown at him immediately after birth, for ten long miraculous days. He fought hard with his Mother and Grandma by his side.
Adiel gained his angel wings on April 23rd, 2021 at 4:33pm from complications of open-heart surgery.
Baby Adiel passed peacefully in his mother’s warm embrace and though only a sharp burst of love and energy in this world.
Baby Adiel leaves a lasting mark on many people’s hearts, including people who hadn’t, yet, met him. They loved him deeply and prayed for him daily.
Adiel is survived by his mother, Ashley Cyusa; grandmother, Alice Cyusa; aunt and uncles: Arnaud Cyusa, Ariane Cyusa, and Armand Cyusa; his great-grandparents, Julianne and Jean B. Sebukangaga; and many relatives.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 11 – 11:30 a.m., at the McGann Hay Granger Chapel, 13260 SR. 23, enter off Cherry Rd. We will then process for A Mass of Christian Burial at, 12 p.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 226 N. Hill St., South Bend. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
