Alberta Mae Lupresto

Alberta Mae Lupresto, 83, passed away unexpectedly in her home July 25, 2017.
She was born December 18, 1933 to the late Alfred and Edna (Dankey) Frank. On June 7, 1952, Alberta married Rocco Lupresto, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2011. To their union, they were blessed with six children, Patrick F. of South Bend, Michael A. of Mishawaka, and Carol A. Holcomb, Rocco J. Jr. (Wendy), Andrew and Anthony Lupresto, all of South Bend. She is also survived by one brother, Charles Frank of MI; two sisters, Marian Welsh of WA, Margaret Plott of MI; four grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Alberta was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and talking and listening on the CB Radio. She was a wonderful cook and baker, and hosted many ice cream socials for the North Side Little League, where her children played. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but she also worked outside the home as a vehicle delivery driver.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31st, from 4-6 p.m., with a memorial service following at 6 p.m. at the McGann Hay, University Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Road, South Bend, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 131 Red Coach Drive, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
