Our precious gift from God, Bernadette Suzanne Witous, went into the arms of Jesus on April 13, 2022, at 4 days old. We were so happy we were able to bring her home before she went on to meet Jesus and her sister, Margot. Her time with us was filled with nothing but love. Bernadette was born in Mishawaka, IN on April 9, 2022 to Michael John William and Jessica Marie (Juday) Witous. She will be dearly missed by her brother, Michael John Paul Witous; paternal grandparents, Mike and Sheila Witous of Cassopolis; maternal grandfather, Earl Juday of Rhode Island; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her maternal grandmother, Jeanette Juday, preceded her in death.Bernadette was truly a gift from God. Knowing that she is in the comfort of our Holy Mother Mary's presence, and Margot, gives us the strength to get through this difficult time. Sleep in heavenly peace, baby girl.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to Mass. She will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bernadette's name to any of these organizations that mean so much to us and Bernadette's story: Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center NICU Project (https://www.sjmedgiving.com/donate); or to Center for Hospice Care, Mishawaka (https://foundationforhospice.org/donate/)Our precious gift from God, Bernadette Suzanne Witous, went into the arms of Jesus on April 13, 2022, at 4 days old.
