Billie Jean Young

Billie Jean Young, a longtime resident of Lakeville, IN, passed away October 18, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Billie was born December 15, 1954 in Plymouth, Indiana.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Jason (Karen Rife) Peters of South Bend and Aaron Peters of LaPaz; one granddaughter, Morgan Peters; and two great-grandchildren: Layla Aviles and Kanyon Peters.

Billie was a Lakeville High School graduate. She enjoyed scary movies, as well as funny shows, and she would watch them all day. She loved cats, Willie Nelson and the Rolling Stones. She was a gifted crocheter and her favorite color was purple. She fought her disease hard until the end, showing everyone how strong and brave she was. She will be missed dearly.
