Brent Charles Schlabach

Brent Charles Schlabach 70, passed away peacefully Monday September 9th, 2024. He was born June 11, 1954 to the late Clyde & Elizabeth Schlabach of Elkton, Michigan.

Brent joined the military soon after high school and served in the US Navy during wartime. He lived and worked in Pigeon, Michigan most of his life. He spent the last year living in Indiana near family.

He will be lovingly remembered for many things, especially hosting family cookouts. He enjoyed helping his neighbors, hunting, target practicing, gardening and smoking jerky.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jeff Schlabach.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Randy (Judy) Schlabach of North Carolina, and Robert (Kat) Schlabach of New Mexico; four sisters: Priscilla Bach of Florida, MaryLee Popham of Michigan, Rebecca Schlabach of Florida, and Elizabeth (Redford) Maust of Indiana; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

No memorial service is planned in honoring Brents’ request. Brent’s wishes were to be cremated and for his ashes to be scattered in a quiet place in the woods.
