Carole A. Mammolenti

September 19, 1939 — June 2, 2017

Carole A. Mammolenti, 77, entered Heaven's gates on July 2, 2017, while surrounded by her family
She was born in Mishawaka, IN on September 19, 1939 to the late Gerald "Jerry" and Eunice (Lynch) Pratt.
On December 3, 1955, Carole married her junior high school love, Milio Mammolenti. He survives. To their union, they were blessed with four children, Theresa M. "Teri" Mammolenti, Virginia (Dennis) Gard and Milio A. "Tony" Mammolenti, all of Edwardsburg, and Monica (Tony Wydajewski) Mammolenti of Union, MI. Also surviving are: Carole's brother, Jerry Pratt of Elkhart; and two sisters, Diane Straub and Karen Griggs of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by siblings, Jack Pratt, Tom Pratt, Judy Hoover and Phil Pratt.
Carole just adored her seven grandchildren, Tonya (Eric) Gard Burns, Malissa (Matt) Gard Bellis, Nicole Ellis, Amie (Cody) Catanzarite Oswianowski, Arin (Andrew) Ellis Seigel, Michael (Jessica) Catanzarite, and Jordan (Ashlee) Rassmusen. She lived with joy for her ten great-grandchildren, who called her Nana, Makayla Shaw, and Kayla and Kyliee Seigel, and the late Emma Seigel, Kara, Ava and Chase Rasmussen, Lazzaro Dance, and Delaney and Hadlee Burns, and two on the way.
Carole was thought of and called mom by many who crossed her path. Her heart was so full and open to any that needed. She was special to almost everyone that ever met her, truly touching many lives. God gained an angel. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior, at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR23, enter off Cherry Rd., with Pastor Jim Wing officiating. Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to Heartland Hospice, who lovingly took care of mom.
