Charles “Charlie” Leroy Bunch

Charles "Charlie" Leroy Bunch, 65, Mishawaka, IN, passed away at home in his wife’s arms on May 18th, 2019. Charlie was born to the late Charles G. and Sue (Simmons) Bunch in South Bend, IN on June 20, 1953.He married Rebecca Zoss, on April 1, 2000. They were married for 19 wonderful years although they were together for 26 years.Charlie worked as a carpenter for most of his life. He could build or fix anything he put his mind to. Charlie was a very well rounded individual who loved hiking, camping, music, mostly rock-and-roll. He enjoyed traveling to places such as, the Smoky Mountains, Niagara Falls, and took many trips to Indiana Beach!Charlie enjoyed helping others, bringing people together and spending quality time with family. Most of all Charlie loved GOD.Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rebecca (Zoss) Bunch; children: Michele Fisher (Vince), Jason Bunch, Amanda Pienkowski (Jake) and Ariel Holdeman (Jared), former spouse, Marcia Fox; brother, Roger Bunch; four sisters: Linda Schafer, Carol Harris, Julie Gonzales, Rose Bunch, several grandchildren: Amber Epperson (Cleve), Brandon Bunch, Danzig Weed, Cameron Tankersley, Chassy Waldroup, Jeremy Pickett, Keaton and Parker Risner, Eden and Jared Holdeman, Virginia, Alex, Heather and Sarah Baker, great grandchildren: Devon Hendrix, Skye, and Shannon and Remington Grimes.Preceding Charlie in death are his parents, Charles G. and Sue (Simmons) Bunch; and a son, Rudy Weed.Matthew 5:4, Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.There are no services planned at this time.
