SOUTH BEND — Charles Harlen Willis, 85, passed away peacefully at 1:45am in his home in South Bend on April 12, 2018.
He was born May 4, 1932 to the late Joseph and Irene Willis in Clinton, IN. On June 29, 1957 in South Bend he married the love of his life Ramona Wainscott, she passed away in March of 2013.
Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter Sharron (Larry) Gaskill of LaPorte, IN, two grandchildren: Lisa Gaskill, and Larry (Stacy Letts) Gaskill, Jr. both of South Bend. He will be dearly missed by all. Preceding Charles in death besides his beloved wife and parents was: a sister Joyce Willis; and four: brothers; Joe, Norman, Larry, and Hershel Willis.
Charles proudly served in the United States Army and worked as a Cement Mason.
