Charlotte Jane (Chapman) Weiand

South Bend- Charlotte J. Weiand, 88, passed away peacefully October 15, 2021.Born March 8, 1933 in Goodland, IN, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Bernice (Hummer) Chapman. She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Jack L. Schultz and Kermit R. Weiand.Left to cherish her memory are four children and three grandsons, whom she loved dearly.Charlotte was an avid reader with a library of books in her home. She liked antiquing and had a myriad of unique pieces. As a long-time registered nurse, and as a mom and grandma, she enjoyed taking care of people. It was not only her passion; it was also a gift. There was a time when she would bake a pie every week, just because, and her completely handmade pies were the best. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.Per Charlotte's request, cremation will take place with no public services.
