Clarice Julia Curran, 90, formerly of South Bend, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on February 1, 2019.
Born September 28, 1928 in South Bend, IN, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Erdos) Sary. Clarice was preceded in death by her sister and brother in law, Irene and Joseph Emery of Pittsburgh, PA; and son-in-law, Thomas Ewald of Noblesville.
On October 30, 1948, Clarice married Paul Francis Curran. He survives. To their 70-year union, they were blessed with four children: Cathy Ewald (Thomas, deceased) of Noblesville, Greg Curran (wife Angela) of Plymouth, Maureen Houser (husband Greg) of Fishers, and Shawn Curran (wife Sara) also of Fishers. They have 6 grandchildren: Alissa Trowbridge of Franklin, TN, Brett Ewald of Carlsbad, CA, Andrew, Grace and Rachael Houser of Fishers, and Meghan Curran of Fishers. They also have 4 great-grandchildren in Tennessee and California.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery.
