Daniel Alan Cory

Daniel Alan Cory, born April 13, 1959, age 65, of Plymouth, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025, following a short illness.

 A devoted family man, Daniel created a lifetime of memories with his loved ones. He was married to his beloved wife, Wanita (Clemons) Cory, for 42 years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. He was a proud father to his son, Dan Cory, Jr., and Dan’s partner, Erica Sellers both of Argos, Indiana. Daniel’s greatest joy was being “Grandpa” to his granddaughter, Chloe Cory, who brought him endless happiness.

 Daniel had a passion for animals, fishing, traveling, hunting wild game, camping, and beach combing. He often found peace and adventure in nature’s beauty. Some of his fondest memories were made in the Florida Keys and the Everglades, where he shared special times fishing with his father and brother, Wayne.

 He is survived by his loving siblings: Wayne Cory of Knox, Indiana, and his partner, Debbie McIntire, Sandra (Bob) Olejniczak of Knox, Indiana, Susan (Jim) Goble of Hamlet, Indiana, Sharon (Tim) Foust of Knox, Indiana, and Pam (Pat) Landesman of Walkerton, Indiana; as well as his aunt, Patricia Davies-Brown of Scottsdale, Arizona. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Nola Cory, who instilled in him a love of family, animals, and the outdoors that he carried throughout his life.
