Darwin Richard Kelver

Darwin R Kelver, 91 passed away peacefully on April 9, 2023 with his family by his side.

Darwin was born on December 23, 1931 to the late Horace and Lillian (Wedel) Kelver. On February 7, 1959 Darwin married Joan Evanstad. She preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are his brother Duane (Delores), his children Richard (Cindy Fabiszak) and Darla Luzon; grandchildren Christopher, Kyle, Eric (Chelsea Borsodi), Scott (Rebecca Nicholas), Sean and Evan Luzon; great grandchildren Chloe, Noah, Tyden, Joseph, Joyce, Hadley and Ella. He was preceded in death by his sister Beverly Giles.

Darwin worked at C & E Trucking for 30+ years. He was part owner of Duffers Woodshop and also worked several odd jobs. Darwin belonged to Turners of Michiana for over 40 years. He enjoyed bowling with his friends, son and grandsons, camping and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed playing Euchre 1 to 3 times a weeks with all his friends. Per his request, no services are being held at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
