David Arnold

SOUTH BEND-David Lee Arnold, 50, passed away unexpectedly at work on October 15, 2018, of natural causes.Born November 30, 1967, David was the son of the late Gerald Guy and Margaret (Grimm) Arnold. His brother, Rick Arnold, also preceded him in death.On December 26, 2015, after a long courtship, David married his best friend, Holly Ann Vanderstraaten, who survives him. Also left to cherish his memory are: three children, Tiffany (Shawn) Brugh, Jerrid (Brooke) Arnold, and Branden (Kalena) Arnold, all of South Bend; two step-children: Aimee (Drew) Cupp of Mendon, MI and Katie Vanderstraaten of Marcellus, MI; three grandchildren: Liam and Aly Brugh and Laylah Arnold; and one step-grandson, Weston Cupp.David was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandpa. He was a hard worker, and enjoyed playing co-ed softball and camping. An avid sports fan, he supported the Cubs, Raiders and TN Volunteers. He was dearly loved and left us too soon. He will be dearly missed.No public services are being held. The immediate family will gather at a later date.
