Dennis W. Vogler

Dennis W. Vogler, 65, passed away on June 2, 2023 after a long illness.

Dennis was born February 17, 1958 in Augsburg, Germany under the Silver Wings of the 11th Airborne Division, while his father was serving in the Army.

Dennis was the son of William F. Vogler of South Bend and Elisabeth Sick of Augsburg, Germany. Dennis also leaves behind several other family members including brother, Kurt (Lisa) Vogler of South Bend and sister, Trauti (Ed) Wilkins of Terre Haute, IN; and six nieces and nephews: Kirstyn and Allisyn Vogler of South Bend, Gabby and Zach Williams of South Bend and Cassie and Michael Wilkins of Terre Haute.

Dennis graduated from West Laurens High in Dublin, GA. He later graduated from Colorado Aero Tech of Colorado. After graduation, he received a federal license to work on airframes for aircraft power plants. He then went to work for Rockwell, in California, and worked on the B-1 Bomber. He moved to South Bend to work in his dad’s business.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, at the McGann Hay, University Chapel, 2313 Edison Rd. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
