Donald Quick

Donald Elmer Quick 75, passed away at his home on September 10, 2021. He was born in Danville, IL on September 11, 1945 to the late Elmer and Beverly (Wynn) Quick.Don, or better known as "Oscar" is survived by his daughter, Tonja Hamel; step-son, Tony Harwood; sister, Barbara Pettis; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and close family friends, Katrina Fee and Elizabeth Hull.Oscar was preceded in death by his children, Dawn, Donna, and Clark Quick, and Sue Henry; brother, Ronald; and sister, Frances.Oscar loved animals as he had 4 cats, 5 dogs, and an angel fish. He enjoyed making and eating cheeseburgers, especially on game day, going to the races and watching old ‘Who Done IT' shows, such as Columbo and Perry Mason. He spent many years as a fast ball pitching coach and was a big fan of the Ladies Notre Dame Softball team. Oscar had a hilarious sense of humor which usually ended up embarrassing someone, but he loved his family and was always sure to ask how everyone was doing.There are no services planned for Oscar at this time.http://www.mcgannhay.com/condolences.html
