Donna Joyce (Olden) Keusch

Donna Joyce Keusch, 70, passed away on January 28, 2024.

Donna was born on March 10, 1953 to the late Donald and Bernice Olden in Chicago, IL.  Donna went to college at Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. After getting her degree, She worked at Memorial Hospital for 11 years. Donna then made a 20 year career before retiring as Dean of Nursing at Ivy Tech Community College.  Teaching was her passion and trained many generations of nurses in the Michiana Area.

Donna met Matt in 1976, and got married on January 15, 1977.  Later they had their son, Aaron (Melissa) Keusch. Two grandchildren, Adian and Isabella; and nieces, Lillian Ruth Olden, and her family, Jared Andrew Wathen Jr., Dylon Jaden Dees-Olden and Benjamin Darron Michael Dees-Olden and Elizabeth Faye Olden, and her family, Domonique Armstrong and Malcolm JaHue Olden; and great-nephew, JayHue Dovan Olden; and nephew, Benjamin and his family, Krista Eileen, Aria Elizabeth and Kori Lucas Olden.

Donna was a servant of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to craft, travel and be around those who loved her. Her smile could stretch for miles, but don’t get on her bad side. Her mother Bernice showed right through her. She absolutely loved her two favorite grandchildren and spending every moment she could with them. She had cookbooks galore and loved to bake.  Donna has been a force for good, improving others and always working for the positive in the world. As many can say, she was a Godsend.

Donna was predeceased by her older brother, Darron Olden.

For all of those she loved and touched deeply. Please join us in celebrating her life at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 930 Park Place, Mishawaka, IN, on February 8, 2024. Visitation is at 11am and the Service to follow at 1pm.

Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka, IN.
