Doris Faye Charles

Doris Faye Charles, 91 passed away at Memorial Hospital, January 5, 2020. She was born on April 29, 1928 in Buchanan, Michigan to the late Howard and Lillie (Wilkinson) Smith. On September 19, 1951 she married Joseph A. Charles, who proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by brothers, Eugene Smith, Lyle Smith, sisters Nina Marsh, Mary Willis, brother William (Bud) Smith and twin sister Dorothy Kolzynski.She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Erin) Charles, Daniel (Deborah) Charles and 10 grandchildren.Doris retired from RACO, after 36 years of service. She enjoyed fishing at Potato Creek and working in her yard and growing flowers.She was a loving mother and friend and will be missed.No services are planned at this time.
