Dr. Joshua David Martens

Dr. Joshua David Martens, 48, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.He is lovingly remembered by his parents, James and Karen Martens; sons, Jaden, Colten; daughter, Ashtyn; along with their mother, Lynee; his twin brother, Jacob Martens and wife Kristen Nichols; nephews, Joseph, Steven and Cooper; and niece, Elaina; honorary "Guys' Night" Uncles, are Larry Dimalanta, Owen Fischler, Brian Sharkey, James Skillen, and Josh Papczynski. He also leaves behind many beloved family and friends. Dr Josh, as he was known by his adoring patients and chiropractic family at Natural Health Family Chiropractic, graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas in January, 2000, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He went on to achieve a post-doctorate degree in Chiropractic Neurology. Prior to attending Chiropractic College, he graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He was a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and a practicing Chiropractic Neurologist. He served the Michiana community for over 21 years bringing healing and relief to thousands of patients.Well known for his love of cars and instantly recognized driving his Kryptonite Green Lotus, he was a staple of the community and admired by so many. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends embracing adventures whether discovering the next local "foodie" hot spot or global destinations abroad. He was a jokester at heart who loved nothing more than to make his family and patients laugh. He knew how to instantly put anyone at ease with his infectious smile. We are welcoming family, friends and the community he loved to join us in celebrating his life on Tuesday, August 23rd any time between 4 and 7 pm at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel,13260 IN-23, Granger, Indiana, enter off Cherry Rd.
