Eileen Stephanie (Lesniewicz) Kajzer

Eileen Kajzer, 82, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2023 in Brookdale Assisted Living Facility.  Eileen was born June 29, 1941 in South Bend to the late Roman and Erma (Wirth) Lesniewicz.

Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Norman Kajzer.  Left to cherish the memory of Eileen are her sons, Michael Kajzer, Mitchell (Lynn) Kajzer, Mark (Alisha) Kajzer; brother, David Lesniewicz; sister, Sharon Kline; grandchildren, Michelle Kajzer, Alan Kajzer, Courtney (Rex) Ramage, Britney (Mike) Russell, Amanda (Tristan Brown) Kajzer; and six great grandchildren.

Eileen dedicated four decades of her life as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center before embarking on a well-deserved retirement.  She was an avid supporter of Notre Dame football, a fan of the Chicago White Sox, and loved Nascar racing.  She enjoyed fishing, spending time at Three Mile Lake in Paw Paw, Michigan, camping, and vacationing with family and friends.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility and Heart-to-Heart Hospice for their love, support, and care provided to Eileen.
