Evelyn Lucille Singleton

June 22, 1920 — July 5, 2021

Evelyn Lucille Singleton, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on July 5, 2021. She was 101. Evelyn was born June 22, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Theodore and Anna (Kijak) Stein.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Thomas Singleton I and Patricia Munger; grandchildren, Tom Baldoni, Troy, and Thomas Singleton II; great-grandchildren, Amber, Tristen, Bryce, Dawson, and Keegan; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Ari and Richard Jr.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert. He passed away in 1989.
Evelyn was always there for her family. She enjoyed cross word puzzles and putting together regular puzzles. Like clockwork, she would get her hair done once a week. Evelyn spent more than 20 years working at the Morris Inn as a cold cook, a job she enjoyed very much. Evelyn loved to dance especially with her husband at Pleasant Lake where they went every Sunday.
Evelyn was also a lifelong member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at St. Therese, Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 N. Ironwood Rd. South Bend, IN 46635, at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior in the church. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
