Gary Spiess

Gary Allen Spiess, 58, passed away May 16, 2020. He was born at Whiteman AFB in Knob Noster, Missouri, on April 11, 1962 to Dale Edward and Nelle Marie (McCullough) Spiess.On June 22, 1984, Gary married Debra Katherine Harlan, she survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Kaitlin, Emma, and Isabelle Spiess; a sister, Joyce Spiess (Gary Williams); and a brother, Dale E. Spiess Jr. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Spiess.Gary had a Master's degree in education from Indiana University and was a teacher and administrator for many years in local Indiana and Michigan school districts. He enjoyed helping his neighbors, playing golf, reading, cooking on the grill, solving home repair and renovation challenges, and driving his convertible with the top down.Arrangements for a memorial service are still pending.You may make a donation in Gary's name to the charity of your choice.
