Gina Troyer

Gina Troyer passed away after a sudden illness on February 3, 2024. She was 67. Gina was born in South Bend, Indiana to the late Ralph G. and Jeanne (Waters) Troyer on July 4, 1956.

Gina had the biggest, kindest heart. If anyone needed anything, she made sure they got it. She loved talking to people which is why she worked as a hostess at Bob Evans for 28 years and at Sam’s Club for 19 years, where she won an award for best salesperson. Some would say she was a workaholic. In her recent retirement, she could be found playing slots at the casino or working on her home that belonged to her mother.

Gina loved Notre Dame football and her family.

Gina is survived by her sisters, Gema Troyer and Tracy (Bobby) Troyer; nephews, Joshua (Michelle) Troyer, Michael Troyer, Bryon Troyer and Jason Troyer; nieces, Brittnea (Christy) Troyer, Nicole Troyer, Dianna Troyer and Makayla Troyer. Along with several great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Troyer; and sister, Patricia Troyer.

She will be missed by her family and the many people whose lives she touched.

Visitation for Gina will take place on Friday, February 9th from 11-1 at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, Granger, entrance off Cherry Rd,). Funeral services will take place at 1p.m.

Donations can be made in Gina’s name for the continued upkeep of the family home that belonged to her late mother.
