Harvey W. Bane

Mishawaka-Harvey William Bane, 75, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on October 15, 2018.He was born May 27, 1943 to the late Bennie and Charlotte (Russell) Bane.On July 25, 1986, Harvey married the love of his life, Angelina T. Hernandez. She survives him. Also left to cherish his memory are six children: Jessica (Joseph, Sr.) Lawrance of Mishawaka, Rick (Jennifer) Bane of Bremen, Kristin Borchers of South Bend, Kimberly Bane of South Bend, Paula Kempf of Osceola and Francis Russell of Des Moines, IA; two sisters, Patricia (Ray) Bane Lundmark of Hammond, IN and Charlotte (Rhineholt) Tillman of Buchanan; and fourteen grandchildren.Harvey proudly served in the Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in 1961. He was a member of the Metis Tribe, where he was a drummer and singer. He was a truck driver for many years, taxi driver and enjoyed racing. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was a very caring man who would never turn you away. He was loved by many, and will be dearly missed.Memorial services will be held at a later date.
