Harvey D. Sieff

October 24, 1950 — September 13, 2017

Harvey D. Sieff, 66, passed away peacefully September 13, 2017 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Born in Dublin, Ireland October 24, 1950, he was the son of the late William and Blooma (Flitterman) Sieff.
On December 22, 1994, Harvey married Kathy Reybuck, who was by his side to the end. Also left to cherish his memory are three children, Oren (Erica) Sieff, stationed in Italy, Jessica Sieff of Mishawaka, and Dustin (Kandice) Sieff of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Sadie and Cecilia Sieff; four siblings, Laraine (Mark) Shpall of New York City, NY, Norman Sieff of Manchester, England, Adele (Yossi) Cohen of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Rochelle (David) Stone of Orlando, FL; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Harvey had an amazing sense of humor and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved being around children, as being around kids allowed him to show his "kid" side. He also enjoyed being on the water, whether he was fishing on his boat, or just walking on the beach. He also loved riding his Harley Davidson. He was a child mentor and enjoyed taking the children to ND games. A true Irish man, he was an avid Notre Dame fan. During his tough fight, Harvey always remained strong and never complained.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR23, enter off Cherry Rd, with Rabbi Michael Freidland officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
Please respect the Jewish custom of not sending flowers. A memorial contribution may be made, in Harvey's name, to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Rd., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
