James K. Webster

James K. Webster, 77, passed away November 3, 2022.

Born May 27, 1945 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Kemp and Muriel Ball. Three sisters, Phyllis Werner, Sally Buechel and Judy Bow also preceded him in death.

On December 31, 1994, James married Laurinda “Laurie” Steinbach. She survives him. Also left to cherish his memory are three sons, Eric (Jessica) Webster, Jeff (Liz) Webster and Michael (Kristin) Schoon; two sisters, Jane Rue and Mary Lamoreux; and four grandchildren, Trevor, Allison and Ashley Schoon and Valerie Webster.

Jim graduated from Howe Military Academy and then joined the Navy, where he served for four years during the Vietnam War. After the war Jim had a lustrous 40-year career at Ford Motor Company.  He enjoyed spending time on the water at his lake house. He loved driving his Harley Davidson Supercharged Ford  F-150 Truck and of course his motorcycle as well.  Most of all, Jim loved spending time with his wife and children, and especially adored every moment with his four grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by his many family members and friends.
