Janis Lynne Warner

GRANGER-Janis L. Warner, 75, passed away peacefully in her home on January 27, 2022 surrounded with family. She was born September 23, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late Fred and Sylvia (Sharapata) Ansell. Janis married the love her life, Frederick Warner, on May 4, 1968 in Johnsburg, IL at St. Johns Catholic Church. Janis and Frederick were blessed with 2 sons of their own Frederick (Karen) Warner, III of Rochester, NY and Kevin (Kelly) Warner of Carmel, IN.Janis was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandma. She enjoyed gardening, line dancing at the Niles Senior Center, going on walks, boating and fishing, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Together, Janis and Frederick enjoyed spending time in Florida and had many adventures like spending a week working as lighthouse keepers in Traverse City, MI. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church and active volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul Society in New Port Richey, FL.Janis lived a full life of love and will be missed dearly by her family and many good friends. She is survived by her loving husband, brother Fred (June) Ansell of Clearwater, FL; sister-in-law, Patricia Ansell of Johnsburg, IL and five wonderful grandchildren Caelyn, Frederick, Jacob, Nathan and Julia. Her brother, Dennis Ansell, also preceded her in death.A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11 am., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Rd, Granger, IN, with visitation beginning at 10 am.
