Javier F. Fernandez

Javier F. Fernandez, 66, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully June 30, 2023.

Born December 9, 1956, he was the son of Javier and Conception (Mendoza) Fernandez.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Conception Fernandez; sister, Naomi (Edward) Anthony; brother, Oscar (Irma) Fernandez; sister, Judy (John) Spila; brother, Alex (Lisa) Fernandez; and sister, Monica Wright.  He has many nieces and nephews who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father (Javier H. Fernandez)

Javier was a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan. He loved playing cards and collecting coins/cards.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 N. Fir Road, Granger, IN., 46530, on Saturday, July 8, at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery 1415 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN., 46545. The funeral will be live streamed at StPius.net
