Jaye C. Collins, 38 died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 5th. Jaye was born in Cleveland, TN on January 13, 1979.
Jaye will be forever and greatly missed by his mother, Natalie Gilligan of Goshen; his father Wil (Geniene) Collins of Plymouth; his fiancé, Nicole Putnam of South Bend; and children, Slade Fergison, Dayton Bell, Shylah, Steil and Sonyah Putnam. He was treasured by his sisters, Alyssia (Derek) Collins, Brittany (Phil) Boes of Mishawaka, Shaina (Jonathan) Sheagley, Renee Gilligan of Indianapolis; and his nieces Hailey, Ahnika, Aayla and Sloane.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Martha Oman; Carl and Ruth Collins; Leo and Mary Ellen Gilligan; cousins, Dalynne and Kyle Wiles; and step-father John Gilligan.
Jaye had a good heart and loved his family and friends. He always made us laugh and always cheered his family on along life's way. He loved to cook, and his pancakes were the best; and had a special love for animals. He left us way too soon and will be dearly missed. Jaye was employed with Mort and Clarke LLC, where he acted as the Armani liaison.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 16th at 2PM at the Twin Branch Bible Church, 3807 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
