Jeffrey Michael Quebedeau

Jeffrey Michael Quebedeau, 54, passed away Thursday, January 14 in his home in South Bend, Indiana. Michael was born on August 24, 1966 in South Bend, Indiana to John and the late Lorraine Quebedeau.Most recently employed by The South Bend Tribune and Fishers Federated Auto Parts, Michael spent most of his career driving a delivery truck, making many friends along his routes. He had an outgoing, friendly personality and enjoyed making people smile with his kindness and laugh with his quick wit. He also enjoyed working on cars for friends and family and supporting the Chicago Blackhawks and White Sox. He was an avid fisherman, and he loved working in his yard and feeding his backyard birds.Michael is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary Catherine (Clauss) Quebedeau. He is also survived by three sons from his first marriage, Jeffrey (Peter Vukovits) Quebedeau, Christopher (Stephanie) Quebedeau, and Jarred Quebedeau. Michael was the proud grandfather of Corbin. He is also survived by three stepsons: Frank (Malinda Stickel) Cecrle, Nick Cecrle, and Luke Cecrle; siblings: Johnny (Dawn), Lori (Ben) Rudlaff, and Kelly (Todd) Ryan.Memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Health Foundation Cancer Services. A private service, held as a Celebration of Life, will be held at a later date in the summer, Michael's favorite season.
