Joel Borem

Edwardsburg-Joel Borem, 62, passed away August 26, 2022 after fighting a lengthy illness. Joel was born December 4, 1959, the middle child of 7, to Wayne and Delores (Schlabaugh) Borem. He was the first of the children to leave this earthly home. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his niece, Holly Dee Farkas. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Andrew "Will" Borem, Deb (Jeff) VandeZande, Beverly (Duane) Rutledge, Jeff (Cheryl) Borem, Cynthia (Paul) Trimm and Tiki Farkas; and many nieces and nephews. Joel worked alongside his father in the HVAC industry for many years. He liked to laugh and have fun and lived life to the fullest. He was dearly loved and will be missed. A visitation to celebrate Joel's life will be held on Saturday, October 8, from 1-4 p.m. at the Ontwa Baptist Church, 69946 Elkhart Rd., Edwardsburg, MI 49112.
