Joseph Martin Kocimski went to Jesus and his beloved wife, Carole, on June 12, 2024 at the age of 80. Joe was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Joseph Kocimski and Agnes (Samp) Heartman on June 26, 1943.

Joe is survived by daughters, Cindy Denham and Denise (Robert) Boss; grandchildren, Karl Frohschamer, Dale and Nicholas Boss and Matthew Maes; and his fur babies, Abby, Luna and Woody George.

Joe enjoyed playing poker, pool, darts and golf. He was a lover of movies especially the Tarzan and James Bond series. He even had his own screening room. Joe spent a lot of time in his workshop constructing furniture or anything anyone asked him to build. Joe also enjoyed eating out when given the chance. His favorite football team was the Chicago Bears, even though he played for the Green Bay Packers in his younger years.

Joe was a doting father, husband and grandfather. He enjoyed doing things to make his family happy and to watch their faces light up.

He will be missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 16, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 N. Fir Rd., Granger.
