Joseph Podgornik

South Bend, Indiana - Joseph Podgornik was born February 26, 1933 and passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  At the time of passing he was a resident of South Bend, Indiana.Formerly of Royal Oak, Michigan, he was a long time employee of The American Red Cross of Detroit.Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Podgornik and sisters, Martha Hawkins and Olga (Ronald) Lederer of Elmhurst, Illinois.He is survived by nephews and nieces Bert (Kathy) Hawkins of Mission Viejo, CA, Tim (Sheri) Lederer of Duncan, OK, Judy Hawkins (Dennis Chapla) of South Bend, IN, and Cindy (Kevin) Bernaciak of Chicago, IL, and a proud Great-Uncle of 8 nephews and nieces.A special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice and Wellbrooke of South Bend for their kindness and care.
