Joyce Elaine Evans

Joyce Elaine Evans, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Joyce was born on August 18, 1941 to the late Dale and Annabell (McKesson) Kersey.Joyce is survived by sons, Allen and Devon Burger Jr.; daughter, Jody Evans; sister, Linda Pruitt; grandchildren: Shannon Burger, Clint Evans, Marshall Harlan, Christine and Ashley Porter; along with 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Joyce was proceeded in death by her husband, Kenneth Evans; daughter, Elaine Porter; brothers, Ben and Dale Kersey Jr.; and sister, Elizabeth Kersey.Joyce loved watching westerns, listening to Loretta Lynn, Charlie Pride, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Elvis. She enjoyed being at home, cooking and gardening. She also loved being a mom and grandmother, going to yard sales, shopping, and attending the Blueberry Festival.A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, October 29 from 1 - 4:30pm at the Battel Community Center, 904 N.
