June Elizabeth Ferraro

June Elizabeth Ferraro, 85, of Lawton, Michigan, formerly of South Bend, passed away on March 30, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1939 to the late Lloyd E and Violet E (Zaehnle) Brown and was one of 14 siblings.

June was married to Patsy (Pat) D. Ferraro for 66 years who survives; along with their 4 children: Nicholas (Sherry) Ferraro, Michael Ferraro, Patrick (Debra) Ferraro and Pamela (Timothy) Weaver; 7 grandchildren: Nicholas Logan Ferraro Jr, Kelly (Jeremy) Bunnell, Christopher (Caitlin) Ferraro, Monica (Josh) Fee, Michael Ferraro, Danielle Ferraro, and Timothy J Weaver; 7 Great Grandchildren: McKenna, Odin, Alerya, Gweneth, Gianna, Legen and Aliah; sisters, Joyce Beehler, Mary Roher; and brother, Robert Brown; sister in law Clara Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.

She was an avid golfer and was a Club Champion at Pine View Golf course and a member of the Kalamazoo Women’s Golf Association. She had an astonishing 3 holes in one and got to golf with legendary golfer, Kathy Whitworth in a pro/am tournament.

June had a strong work ethic and always worked hard at everything. She was especially particular about mowing her lawn and taking care of her flowers and garden. She was an avid Notre Dame football and women’s basketball fan, and loved her walks around Gravel lake and seeing all the people.

She was always humming a happy tune and she kept moving until she couldn’t anymore.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
