Kathleen M. Huys, age 66, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2018 in South Bend, IN.
Born in South Bend, Indiana, March 14, 1951, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Black) Walsh.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Daniel Huys of South Bend, IN and Andrew Huys of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by her older brothers: Mike Walsh of Texas and Gerald Walsh of Nevada.
Kathleen was a loving and devoted mother, daughter and sister. She was extremely hard working and had many wonderful friends and co-workers at Red Lobster, where she served for many years. All who knew her experienced her generosity towards others, her wonderful sense of humor and her compassionate nature. She had a strong faith in God and relied on Him until her passing. She loved her family, cooking and the Chicago Cubs. She will be dearly missed.
Cremation will take place with a memorial service and burial to be held at a later date in summer 2018.
