Kathleen Mae Morton, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 19, 1945 to the late Timothy James and Mary (McDonough) Mahoney.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, John of South Bend, IN; sisters, Rosie Borucki of Lansing, IL and Eileen (the late John) Clifford of Crestwood, IL; children: Kim Riley of West Des Moines, IA, Robert Riley of San Diego, CA, and Brian (Emily) Riley of Exeter, NH; grandchildren: Jordan, Matt, Nolan, Sophie, Audrey, Katie, and Brendan Riley; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Kathleen in death were her parents; Barbara (Ronald) Polk; Shelia Mahoney; and Margie (John) Darrah.
Kathleen worked as a Receptionist for Notre Dame Athletics for many years. She was also an avid tennis player.
A Celebration of Kathleen’s life is planned for Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 5-8 pm at Tippecanoe Place Restaurant, 620 W. Washington St., South Bend. To send private condolences, please visit www.McGannHay.com
