Kelly Jean Cowsert

Kelly Jean (McConnell) Cowsert was born February 14, 1961, in South Bend, Indiana to John Charles McConnell and Sally Jean (Goss) McConnell.

She married Jeffrey Allen Cowsert on July 4, 1993. Kelly passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024. Kelly was a 1979 graduate of LaSalle High School and a 1981 graduate of Vincennes University. Kelly worked her entire professional career at Teacher's Credit Union in a variety of roles and retired in 2016.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Kathy (Bryan) Landen, and the love of her life, Jeffrey Allen Cowsert. Kelly leaves behind her loving daughter, Nicole Lynn Cowsert (Shikvell) of South Bend, Indiana; a sister, Karen McConnell of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Nephews, Kenneth (Lucia) Landen of Los Angeles, California, and James Bond; and nieces, Kate (Shawn) Murray of Bargersville, Indiana and Rachel Bond of Bella Vista, Arkansas.
