Linda Louise Matz Bennett

MISHAWAKA- Linda L. Matz Bennett, 70, passed away peacefully at the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Milford, IN on January 22, 2018.Linda was born on July 19, 1947 in LaPorte, IN to the late George and Goldie (Wesolek) Matz. On March 30, 1985, Linda married the love of her life, Frank E. Bennett. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William F. "Butch" Brennan, and Donald L. Brennan.Linda attended Indiana University of South Bend (IUSB) where she received a B.S. degree in Sociology. She worked 18 years for Meijer as a retail clerk.Left to cherish her memory are: her sister, Debbie (Gene) Fournier of East Moline, IL; two children, David Bennett of Elkhart and Jennifer (Chris) Brown of Elkhart; IN; 3 grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews.Cremation will take place with a memorial service and burial to be held at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W.
