Marcia Lynne (May) Crockett

Marcia Lynne Crockett left this world too young at the age of 66. Her journey started on August 14, 1957 and came to an end on July 3, 2024.

Marcia will be remembered by the footprints she left on the hearts of those around her. Her prints were full of friendly smiles and secure hugs when a moment was needed. Full of meals that were prepared with calloused loving hands. Hands that would play cards all night around a table full of banter and laughter. The hands that would open the door and welcome all the wandering misfits under one roof. Marcia loved with her whole heart and gave with all that she had.

She leaves behind two sisters; one brother; three daughters; one granddaughter; three grandsons; amongst many others to spread her love by giving her smile to a stranger in the grocery line who has had a bad day, giving her hug to someone who needs a safe place to cry, by preparing meals with her love, or by passing along her smirk after a night of playing cards. Marcia’s footprints will continue to live on through time with acts of kindness and love. She will forever be missed. May her soul find peace and sail the seven seas.

A Celebration of Life  will be held at Buchanan Church of the Nazarene, 704 W Front St, Buchanan, MI 49107, on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 11-12 p.m.
