Marlanea M. Johnson

Marlanea M. Johnson, 53, passed away December 5, 2019, after an extended illness. She was born in South Bend, IN, on January 12, 1966, to Carlyn (Schenck) Young.Marlanea is survived by her biological and children she took in: Angel Young, Johnny (Tawnny) Johnson, Charnee Dunn, Christopher Petrowsky, and Christopher Hoover; grandchildren: Arik, Logan, Zachary, Chayse, Kalista, Makenzie, Izayah, and Ka'Miyah. She is also survived by her mother, Carlyn (Timothy Sienicki) Young.Marlanea was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert.Marlanea loved her everyone and everything, especially her family. She took in kids that needed a mom, and even took in many animals that needed a home. She was a giver. She enjoyed reading, learning about native American culture, and horses.She will be greatly missed.Donations can be made in Marlanea's name to Pet Refuge, 4626 S.
