Marlene Gaye Six

November 23, 1944 — July 13, 2016

Marlene Gaye Six, 71, was born November 23,1944, in Gary Indiana, to her parents, Earl William Six, and Oma Hazel (Assenbaugh) Six. She died early Wednesday morning, July 13.
Marlene had worked as a laborer and lineworker at various locations, the most recent being at Logan Industries. She loved her work at Logan, and took great pride in what she did. Marlene was able to really connect with people, had a sweet personality, a sense of humor, enjoyed being silly at times, and brought joy to people's hearts. Favorite pass times included puzzles, crosswords, and computer games. She talked with Jesus every day. She had lived in this area since 1982, coming here from Indianapolis. She had a sweet spirit and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Constance Paszli of South Bend, and Debra (Allen) Wilburn of Mishawaka; and a brother, Phillip (Faye) Six, of Zephyrhills, FL. She also leaves five loving nephews, Stephen Botka, Jesse Wilburn, Jeffrey Six, Gaylene Ban, and Johnny Ray Paszli; as well as, great nephews and and a great niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15th, from 11:00 till 12:00, followed by a service at 12:00, at the McGann Hay, University Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Rd., South Bend. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
