Mary Frances Lash

Mary Frances Orzech Lash, 84, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2022.Mary was born October 22, 1937, in Michigan City, IN, the daughter of the late John Aloysius and Elnor Marie (Rist) Orzech. Her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and John Bothast, also preceded her in death.Left to cherish her memory are: 3 daughters, Cynthia A. Werner, Tamara L. Lash and Ann Marie Lash; 2 sons, William J. Lash and Michael H. Lash; and 11 grandchildren: Dean Mamakos Jr., Lauren E. and William T. Werner, Jr., Melissa, Alexandra and Heather Berardi, and William Diego, Kaelin, Walter, Harley and River Lash.Mary was very active at LOGAN, Reins of Life and Little Flower Catholic Church. A strong advocate of individuals with Down's Syndrome, she kept involved with the Special Olympics.Mary's family and friends were of great interest to her. She also enjoyed sports, particularly golf, reading, and fine dining.She was a graduate of Indiana University of Business, and later returned to school at Ramapo College of New Jersey, to obtain a degree in Psychology.
