Mary G. Miller, 92, passed away December 6, 2020 from complications caused by COVID-19. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana, on June 22, 1928, to the late Frank and Grace (Virgara) Trimboli, who migrated to the United States from Plati, Italy. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Patrick Trimboli, a sister Rita Lopresti and her husband, Wayne E. Miller, Jr., whom she married on November 11, 1950.
Mary worked at Gates Chevrolet and several other car dealerships in the South Bend/Mishawaka area. She also worked at the Mishawaka License Branch where her specialty was automotive titles. Mary took great joy in having her family over for dinner, which usually consisted of spaghetti and meatballs, her prized dish. She enjoyed going out to dinner with her family and her friends. When she was still able, she loved to workout at USA Fitness, where she became an essential member of “The Spa Girls”. In the summer Mary loved to work in her yard and had one of the most beautiful flower gardens in the neighborhood. One of Mary’s other favorite hobbies was shopping; no bargain ever evaded her.
She greeted everyone she met with a smile, a trait that people always commented on to her children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her two children, Patrick (Dawn) Trimboli and Anita Givens, both of South Bend, her granddaughter, Virginia (Michael) Germann, three great-grandsons, Justin, Alex, and Ryan Germann along with her brother Joseph Trimboli, all of Mishawaka.
Per her request, no services are being held.
The family would like to thank the caregivers from Heart-to-Heart Hospice and the staff at Morningview Assisted Living. Donations may be made in Mary’s name to Heart-to-Heart Hospice, 620 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545 or to the donor’s choice.
