Michael Leonard Connelly

GRANGER- Michael Leonard Connelly, 76, died with his family by his side on Friday, November 12, 2021, at his home in Granger, Indiana.Michael was born September 22, 1945 to the late Clarence and Simonne (DeCuypere). His sister, Ellen Birkland, also preceded him in death.He retired from AM General in 2013. He loved spending time with his family and friends, outdoor activities, watching tv shows and movies, and traveling around the country.Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (married on November 11, 1966); 3 sons, Michael, Christopher, and Jamie; 2 daughters and their spouses, Chelly (John Erichsen) and Melissa (Sean DeBroka); and 8 grandchildren.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame.
