Nancy Jean Heminger

Nancy Jean Heminger passed away Sunday. She was 74. Nancy was born in South Bend, Indiana to Edward and Eugenia Heminger on August 9, 1943.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Rick) Tolbert of Rockford, TN; and brother, Patrick (Nancy) Heminger of South Bend, IN. She had many friends, including her best friend, Shirley Farkas, of Edwardsburg, and Shirley’s entire family, who loved Nancy like their own. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy attended Edwardsburg High School and completed her diploma at Brandywine High School. She worked at Harold Ziegler Ford, the former Pete Ford, as an auto detailer. She was an avid Notre Dame Football fan; and attended church at Hope United Methodist Church in Edwardsburg.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, July 10th at 6:30 p.m. at Hope United Methodist Church, 69941 Elkhart Rd., Edwardsburg, MI 49112.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
