Norma Jean Fokey

July 4, 1928 — September 14, 1987

VANDALIA, MI — Norma Jean (Culp) Fokey, 90, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning at her home.
She was born to the late Marvin and Vera Culp July 4th 1928 in South Bend, IN. On April 12, 1947 in South Bend she married the love of her life Louis James Fokey. He passed away on September 14, 1987.
Norma is survived by her loving nephew and niece: Rex Culp and of Riverton, Utah and Bonnie Blood of Bowntiful, Utah. Also left to cherish her memory are several great nieces and nephews and many friends and neighbors.
Norma was involved with the Cass County Council on Aging, Donnell Lake Conservation Club, Bonine House (Underground Railroad Museum), and her beloved church with which she was very much involved, Pleasant View Church of Christ.
She also volunteered often with different charities and events. Norma was a very loving, and caring person who will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral Services for Norma will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, at Pleasant View Church of Christ on M-60 in Vandalia, MI. at 2pm. There will be no viewing. Family asks that donations in Norma’s name be made to: Bonine House, 18970 M-60 Vandalia, MI 49095 or Cass County Council on Aging 60525 Decatur Rd. Cassopolis, MI 49031
