Patricia Graham (Graham) Macdonald

Patricia Graham MacDonald, 94, passed away on April 29th, 2024. She was born to the late Charles and Mary Graham on September 9th, 1929 in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.

Patricia married the love of her life, Alexander William MacDonald on April 11th, 1966. He preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Alexander Graham MacDonald; his wife Elissa Mills MacDonald; and their children, Calliope and Desmond.

Patricia lived a long, happy, joyous life filled with friends, great food, bridge games, laughter, crossword puzzles, and world travel. Born during the Great Depression and living well into the 21st century, Patricia lived an exemplary life. As a young person, she worked as a checkout girl at the local grocery store to help her family during difficult economic times.  She met her beloved husband in her home town and nurtured her family as they moved from Pennsylvania to South Bend, Indiana.

After her husband died, she was able to thrive. She had many great friends, enjoyed her lake cottage in Michigan, and traveled to Antarctica.

Her love, laughter, and joy will be missed but her memory will be cherished by everyone who knew her.
