Patricia Ann (Bromwich) Pagels

Patricia Ann Pagels, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 28, 2022. Pat as people called her, was born in Detroit, MI on September 2, 1935 to the late William Alfred Bromwich and Retta Fay (Moore) Coulter.

Pat is survived by her 6 children: Rick (Minyi) Pagels, Shannon Ruthenberg, Kelly Rial, Randy (Nancy) Pagels, Kim Sherwood and P.J. (David) Kolhoff; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pat spent most of her life working as a nurse, a job she loved. During her nursing career, she worked with the Red Cross, the IV team at University of MI, and a VA Hospital. She was also a certified Lamaz instructor. Pat spent her time away from work as a Cub Scout leader, youth softball coach, hot air balloon host and a model for Chrysler Corp. At Denby High in Detroit, Pat was a synchronized swimmer. Also throughout her busy life, Pat was a licensed cosmetologist, realtor and owned and operated several small businesses. Pat loved watching football and quilting and received various awards. She was also a talented painter.

Pat will be missed by so many family, friends and all of the various organizations she belonged to over the years.

A Celebration of life will take place on November 19, 2022 from 2-4 pm at the B.E. Henry Building 615 S. Marshall Ave, Marshall MI 49068.
