Patricia Ann Ruane

GRANGER-Patricia A. Ruane, 76, passed at home on October 6, 2022.
Born June 21, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Marjorie (Quinn) Folsom. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lynn (Folsom) Huffman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas M. Ruane; three children: Mark (Carrie) Ruane of Dayton, OH, Brian (Heather Kenny) Ruane of Memphis, TN and Lori Ruane of New York, NY; four siblings: Rob (Cathy) Folsom and David (Star) Folsom, both of Youngstown, OH, Michael (Debbie) Folsom of Ocala, FL, and Sandy Folsom Brajer of Youngstown, OH; brother-in-law, Darryl Huffman; two grandchildren, Charlie and Sylvie Ruane; and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was a very loving and devoted wife and mother, who always put her family first. In 1987, Tom, Pat and their kids moved from Youngstown, OH to Granger, IN, and became members of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Patricia was a gifted Registered Nurse, where she made many lifelong friends. She cherished dining out with her weekly lunch groups, and traveling, especially to visit family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13 from 5-7 p.m. at McGann Hay Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23 (enter off Cherry Rd.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior, at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Father Larry's Parish in Uganda. Please make checks payable to St. Pius X Catholic Church.
