Patsy was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 12, 1946 to the late James Kells and Mary Jane Davis.She married Walter C Matthis, of Chicago, Illinois and together they had 3 children, Jayne Irene, Sheila Diane, and Michael Robert. Patsy remarried twice after, the last to William J Geraghty .Patsy held several skilled positions, one of which was a Telephone Operator for Illinois bell. Later she started and ran a Mission Mail Center in Flower Mound, Texas. There she dove heavily into Ministry as she worked alongside television minster Zola Levitt in Dallas, Texas. During this time, Patsy earned a degree in Theology and became an ordained minister for Mayim Hyam Ministries.When she retired, Patsy and William relocated back to Patsy's family vacation retreat in Bass Lake Indiana.After her husband William passed away, Patsy then moved to North Judson, Indiana where she lived out her remaining years with her best friend Bernard (Skip) Stinski.She was Loved and adored by many, and will be remembered for her spry eccentric, flamboyancy. She loved crafts and Art and especially music, where at one time she was an accomplished accordion player.Patsy is survived by one daughter, Sheila Diane Matthis Rossow, of Lockport, Illinois; Son Michael Robert Matthis of North Judson, Illinois; two brothers, Robert E. Phalon, and wife Nora Dulski Phalon of Chicago, Illinois; Edward E Phalon and wife Cynthia Bolsoni Phalon of Oak Forest, Illinois; and one sister Karen Kells Sibligtroth and husband Tom Sibligtroth, of Marango, Illinois; five grandchildren, Alyssa Mae, Gabriela Patsy, Michael David, Braelyn Nicole, Bret James; and five great-grandchildren, Paige, Julian, Ethan, Killian and Chloe, and many nieces and nephews.Patsy is preceded in death by both parents; one sister Peggy Lee Phalon Swanson; a daughter, Jayne Irene Thompson, Her daughter Renee Matthis, and daughter Cheryl Matthis; and her late husband, William J Geraghty. Not to mention so many of Patsy's pets that she loved and adored and is eager to see at the Rainbow Bridge.A small family service was held on Thursday March 23rd 2019.
